This set of 2 beautiful pillows feature my original artwork of the iconic lighthouse at Lion's Head on Georgian Bay. Design Story: Both of these cushions depict the Lion's Head Lighthouse as it was before a huge winter storm destroyed it on January 12, 2020. Through donations and support from local people and businesses (including Hutton Hill Designs), the lighthouse has been rebuilt. Thank You to all those who helped rebuild the Lion's Head Light!

My husband is from Lion's Head, and he and his family have deep roots in that area of the Bruce Peninsula on Georgian Bay in Ontario. News of the loss of the lighthouse came to us the same day as the Celebration of Life for his brother Dwight who passed away earlier in January. For many years, Dwight made his home in Australia, but always made the trip to Lion's Head during his visits home to Canada. In honour of my brother-in-law, I've donated a portion of all sales of this pillow to the LH Lighthouse rebuilding fund, and will continue to support the community of Lion's Head.

Side 1 of both pillows showcases the lighthouse and Side 2 features has LION'S HEAD ONTARIO with its latitude and longitude. Both sides of these cushion covers are printed on polyester canvas...durable and surprisingly soft (and washable). I’m very proud to offer these superior products.

OUTDOOR USE: Although my pillow covers and inserts are not recommended for continuous outdoor use in full sun, they are fine for shaded, covered areas. If they get wet, just zip the cover off the insert and air dry both; or wash if needed as described above.

COLOR MATCHING: I do my very best to ensure all colors are as accurate as possible, but minor variations can occur on different screens. Please contact me if you'd like help with color matching.
