Design Story: This framed fine art print depicts the Lion's Head Lighthouse as it was before a huge winter storm destroyed it on January 12, 2020. Through donations and support from local people and businesses (including Hutton Hill Designs), the lighthouse has been rebuilt. Thank You to all those who helped rebuild the Lion's Head Light!

My husband is from Lion's Head, and he and his family have deep roots in that area of the Bruce Peninsula on Georgian Bay in Ontario. News of the loss of the lighthouse came to us the same day as the Celebration of Life for his brother Dwight who passed away earlier in January. For many years, Dwight made his home in Australia, but always made the trip to Lion's Head during his visits home to Canada. In honour of my brother-in-law, I've donated a portion of all sales of this pillow to the LH Lighthouse rebuilding fund, and will continue to support the community of Lion's Head.
