Design Story: Loons have a beautiful, haunting call which you can hear for miles over the water. (I could almost hear it while working on this art.) I was inspired by photos my friend Karen took on vacation at a lake in Northern Ontario. I got to work in my studio, added some loon references I was able to get, and these two images are the result. I love how they turned out.
