A beautiful tribute
The Monarch Butterfly Story
My dear friend Sharon raises monarch butterflies for the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
Every summer, she collects eggs, nurtures and protects the caterpillars, and when they emerge from their cocoons, she releases them.
Sharon brought us the most amazing gift.
To commemorate the recent loss of my mom and my brother-in-law, she brought a newly-emerged butterfly over to our house, and we released the butterfly together. ❤️

While the monarch was still drying his wings, I took the source photos for this design.
Thank you so much Sharon!
